Is Colia free to use?
Yes, Colia is completely free. There are no platform fees. You agree on a reward directly with the traveler and pay in cash at the handoff.
How does payment work?
Payment is handled directly between you and the traveler β typically cash on delivery. Colia doesn't process any money. You agree on a reward in the app, then settle in person at the handoff.
What items can be delivered?
Most personal items, electronics, clothing, cosmetics, and food products. Prohibited items include anything illegal, hazardous, or restricted by airlines.
How are travelers verified?
Travelers can verify their email and identity. Verified profiles display a badge, and all users are rated by the community after each delivery.
What if something goes wrong?
If the item is not delivered, the payment is refunded to the sender. You can also contact our support team at any time.
Which items are prohibited, and can I carry a closed package?
Illegal, dangerous, counterfeit, or customs-restricted goods are strictly forbidden. Above all: a traveler must never accept a closed or sealed package whose contents they could not inspect β they are responsible for what they carry through customs.
